Elio Film Review

As is consistent with Pixar's works, the visuals are beautiful, detailed, and captivating. They definitely take you on a fantastical journey.
In today's society, everyone champions streaming at home and watching Netflix, but Pixar films really need to be experienced in the cinema to truly feel them. The sound, visuals, and lighting all immerse you in the experience.
Compared to past works, I personally feel that this time the theme isn't as prominent or as deep. Using a vague and ethereal title like "Are you alone?" as the main theme might not evoke a deep understanding for the general public. It's not like Inside Out, where after watching the movie, you walk out of the cinema reflecting on what kind of person you are and which personality trait is dominant. For me, this film lacked that sense of post-viewing reflection.
As a family-friendly movie, it's more than satisfactory. Don't expect profound thoughts; just go to the cinema to temporarily disconnect from reality and immerse yourself in the world of Pixar. I'd give it 7/10 as a start to the hot summer!
