A Fond Farewell to ODEON Bracknell
The ODEON Bracknell, originally a UCI cinema opened on August 28, 1990, and rebranded by ODEON in 2007, has been a community hub for decades. With 10 screens seating 179 to 332, it offered affordable £5 tickets for myODEON members and accessibility features like wheelchair-friendly seats not at the screen’s front. The closure, announced in early May 2025, shocked staff and patrons, following negotiations with the landlord at The Point Leisure Complex. An ODEON spokesperson said, “We thank our guests for their support over the years and are working to secure jobs for our team at other locations”.
