Synopsis

From visionary director Julia Ducournau (*Raw*, *Titane*), this chilling body-horror drama is set in a world gripped by a mysterious, bloodborne disease. The film follows a troubled 13-year-old girl named Alpha whose life, and the life of her single mother, is plunged into chaos when Alpha returns home with a fresh tattoo. As fear and paranoia spread through their isolated community, the film explores the terrifying bonds of family, the agony of grief, and the struggle to love in the shadow of a terrifying epidemic.
