Animal Farm
Synopsis
When the neglectful Farmer Jones loses his estate to repossession, a visionary group of farm animals rises up to drive out their human oppressors and establish a self-governing society built on the principles of absolute equality and freedom. Renaming their new home 'Animal Farm,' the group works together with a shared dream of a prosperous future. However, the initial optimism quickly deteriorates as an aggressive power struggle emerges between the visionary pig Snowball and the ruthless, calculating Napoleon. As Napoleon consolidates absolute control, he subtly manipulates the rules of the farm to elevate the pig class above all other creatures. Caught in the middle of this societal shift is Lucky, a young piglet torn between opposing ideals. Directed by Andy Serkis, this modern animated adaptation of George Orwell's classic novella explores how noble intentions can be systematically dismantled by corruption, propaganda, and unchecked authority.
