Synopsis

Best friends Claire and Hailey are facing imminent separation as Hailey prepares to move to Australia with her oceanographer mother. Following a violent storm, the two teenagers discover Aquamarine, a snarky mermaid, washed up in a beachside swimming pool. Aquamarine has fled an arranged marriage in search of true love, believing it to be the only way to convince her father to cancel the wedding. She strikes a deal with the girls: if they help her win the heart of Raymond, a handsome local lifeguard, she will grant them a wish that could keep them together. Over three chaotic days, Claire and Hailey attempt to navigate the unwritten rules of teenage romance while trying to outsmart the arrogant daughter of the local beach club owner. Along the way, all three girls learn valuable lessons about friendship, courage, and the true meaning of love.
