Synopsis

In a suburb of Dakar, construction workers go unpaid for months. In a last-ditch effort to get their money, they decide to flee the country by boat. However, their spirits soon return to haunt those they left behind, bringing with them a wave of supernatural vengeance. This is a haunting and mesmerizing romance about an impossible love and a ghost story that explores class, justice, and the deep-seated secrets of a community.
