Synopsis

When a patient mysteriously vanishes during a session, a dedicated therapist finds herself drawn into a horrifying, reality-bending dimension known as the Backrooms. Her search leads her through a furniture showroom basement into a sprawling, yellow-hued labyrinth of endless corridors and sterile, fluorescent-lit office spaces where the laws of physics and time cease to exist. As she navigates this disorienting liminal space, she discovers she is not alone; the environment is inhabited by cryptic entities and echoes of those who previously 'no-clipped' out of reality. Armed with only her wits and a sense of growing psychological collapse, she must unravel the mystery of the dimension's origins to find her patient and an exit before the hum-buzz of the lights drives her to madness. Based on the viral internet phenomenon, this psychological horror film explores the terror of isolation and the fragile nature of human identity in a world that never ends.
