Synopsis

Set against the backdrop of post-conflict Northern Ireland six years into the peace process, Chasing Millions follows the chaotic investigation surrounding history's largest bank heist in the United Kingdom and Ireland. In 2004 Belfast, an unyielding Australian detective and a world-weary Northern Irish police detective are reluctantly paired together to track down £26 million in stolen cash. As they navigate delicate political tensions, fragile ceasefires, and lingering mistrust, their investigation quickly spirals into a series of wild, unpredictable twists and turns. Racing against time and warring factions, the mismatched duo must unravel a complex web of deceit before the stolen fortune vanishes permanently.
