Synopsis

David is an epic animated musical biblical drama that chronicles the early life and legendary rise of the historical figure from the Book of Samuel. Set against a kingdom torn by intense geopolitical conflict and corruption, the story begins with a young shepherd boy tending his father's flock in Bethlehem. Blessed with an extraordinary musical gift and unwavering faith, David is unexpectedly anointed by the prophet Samuel to become the future King of Israel. When the terrifying, nine-foot-tall Philistine champion Goliath rises to hold the entire nation hostage, David refuses to yield to the pervasive fear.
