Synopsis

Told through the eyes of an eight-year-old girl, this drama captures the tumultuous final days of white-minority rule in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in 1980. Living on an isolated farm, young Bobo witnesses her eccentric family's unraveling—marked by paranoia, alcoholism, and a fierce, misguided love for the land—as the war for independence and the end of a colonial era rage just beyond her innocent gaze.
