Early Man
Synopsis
Set at the dawn of time when prehistoric creatures and woolly mammoths roamed the earth, Early Man follows the story of Dug, a courageous and optimistic Stone Age caveman, and his loyal wild boar sidekick, Hognob. Their peaceful, traditional way of life in a lush valley is abruptly shattered when the arrogant, money-hungry Lord Nooth arrives to claim the land, ushering in the advanced Bronze Age. Banished to the harsh volcanic badlands, Dug refuses to give up without a fight and accidentally stumbles into the Bronze Age City. There, he challenges Lord Nooth's elite champions to a high-stakes public match of the city's favorite sport: football. If Dug's rag-tag tribe of lovable misfits can win, they get to keep their home; if they lose, they face a lifetime of hard labor in the mines. With the help of Goona, a talented and rebellious Bronze Age market seller, the clumsy cavemen must learn the art of teamwork to pull off an ultimate underdog victory.
