Evil Dead Burn
Synopsis
Following the tragic loss of her husband, Alice, a French woman living in the United States, seeks solace by visiting her in-laws at their secluded family estate. Hoping for a quiet period of mourning and healing, the gathering instead descends into a waking nightmare when an ancient evil is inadvertently unleashed. One by one, her relatives are transformed into sadistic Deadites, turning the somber family reunion into a brutal and claustrophobic fight for survival. As the demonic infection spreads, Alice realizes that the boundaries between life and death are terrifyingly thin, and the vows she took may bind her to a fate far worse than grief. Directed by Sébastien Vaniček, this visceral installment in the Evil Dead franchise emphasizes practical effects and psychological brutality, utilizing the primal element of fire to illuminate a descent into hell where the only way out is through a blood-soaked, fiery confrontation with the past.
