Synopsis

In a modern reimagining of the infamous 1978 cult horror film, a female content moderator working for a YouTube-like website discovers a series of disturbing videos hidden within the platform's dark corners. The videos recreate graphic deaths reminiscent of the original film's infamous footage. However, in an era dominated by deepfakes and digital manipulation, she faces a chilling dilemma: determining whether these horrific clips are elaborate hoaxes crafted for online views or evidence of actual, real-world murders. As she delves deeper into investigating the videos, she uncovers a sinister online subculture and finds herself drawn into a terrifying web of psychological horror and digital dread, where her own life becomes endangered by the deadly forces lurking behind the screen.
