Synopsis

The stars of a canceled 1980s sci-fi TV series are stuck making a living by appearing at fan conventions. Their world is turned upside down when a group of aliens, who have mistaken the show for historical documents, kidnap them to help fight a real intergalactic war. The has-been actors must now become the brave heroes they once pretended to be in order to save the universe. This is a witty and hilarious comedy that is a loving tribute to both science fiction and its fans.
