Synopsis

When a charismatic ex-con named Johnny Spiteri gets out of prison, he's determined to go straight and stay out of trouble. But he soon discovers that getting a job and staying "square" is a lot harder than he thought, especially with his old criminal connections and a shady police detective still on his tail. This is a clever and hilarious Australian crime comedy about trying to get an honest break in a dishonest world.
