Synopsis

Obsessed with death and bound by a childhood suicide pact, morbid teenage sisters Brigitte and Ginger Fitzgerald are bitter outcasts in their dull suburban town of Bailey Downs. On the night of Ginger's first period, she is viciously attacked and bitten by a mysterious wild beast roaming the neighborhood. While her physical wounds heal suspiciously fast, Ginger undergoes a terrifying transformation as her aggression, heightened libido, and violent cravings escalate with the approaching full moon. Recognizing the deadly symptoms of lycanthropy, Brigitte desperately tries to find a cure and protect her sister, but Ginger increasingly embraces her dark, bloodthirsty urges. As bodies begin to pile up around school and home, Brigitte faces an agonizing race against time and must decide how far she will go to save her sister before Ginger loses her humanity entirely.
