Godzilla Minus Zero

Synopsis

Serving as the direct sequel to the Academy Award-winning Godzilla Minus One, Godzilla Minus Zero picks up in the aftermath of post-war Japan's devastating confrontation with the king of monsters. As a recovering nation struggles to rebuild its shattered infrastructure and cities, lingering nuclear fallout and deep-sea mutations trigger Godzilla's horrific regeneration from the ocean depths. Former kamikaze pilot Koichi Shikishima and Noriko Oishi, now confronting the mysterious physical mark left by her survival, find themselves drawn back into a desperate struggle for humanity's existence. As Godzilla returns stronger, more unstable, and vengeful, a coalition of scientists, veteran military officers, and citizens must unite once again. Facing a monster that threatens to reduce Japan from minus to zero, they devise a daring, untested strategy to neutralize the titan before total annihilation.
