Synopsis

Twenty thousand years ago, the Earth was a prehistoric world of glaciers and sub-zero temperatures. In the midst of the great migration, an unlikely trio of misfits finds themselves bound together by a shared mission. Manny, a no-nonsense woolly mammoth, and Sid, a fast-talking ground sloth, discover a human infant separated from its tribe. They are soon joined by Diego, a cunning saber-toothed tiger with a hidden agenda. Together, this makeshift herd must brave treacherous ice fields, volcanic pits, and the manipulative schemes of Diego's pack to return the child to his father. Along the way, they learn that family isn't just about species, but about the bonds formed during the journey. Intercut with their adventure is the iconic struggle of Scrat, a saber-toothed squirrel whose desperate attempt to bury a single acorn inadvertently triggers massive geological shifts, proving that even the smallest creatures can have a massive impact on the world.
