Merry Christmas Aubrey Flint
Synopsis
Aubrey Flint is a reclusive, cynical model-soldier painter with a lifelong hatred of the Christmas season. After a minor legal infraction, he is sentenced to complete mandatory community service at Willow Lodge, a struggling local retirement home. There, he reluctantly agrees to direct the elderly residents in an amateur holiday stage production of A Christmas Carol. As chaotic rehearsals unfold and threaten to spiral into comic disaster, Aubrey finds his deeply rooted defenses tested by the eccentric residents and dedicated staff. Ghostly reminders of his own painful past begin to surface, forcing Aubrey to choose between retreating back into his isolated comfort zone or embracing the messy, magical chaos of community, newfound friendship, and authentic festive cheer.
