Synopsis

When a botched FBI sting leads to the brutal murder of informants, Miami-Dade detectives James "Sonny" Crockett (Colin Farrell) and Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs (Jamie Foxx) are called in to infiltrate a sophisticated global drug-trafficking network. Posing as high-level "transportation" experts, the duo travels from the coastal waters of Florida to the dangerous streets of Haiti and Colombia.

As they work to unmask the cartel's elusive leader, Arcángel de Jesús Montoya, the line between their aliases and their true identities begins to blur. The mission takes a perilous turn when Crockett begins a clandestine romance with Isabella (Gong Li), the cartel’s mysterious financial advisor. Deep undercover where "their badges don't count," the partners must navigate a lethal web of betrayal and professional duty before their cover is blown for good.
