Synopsis

In 1980s London, a young Pakistani-British man named Omar is given a run-down laundrette to manage by his entrepreneur uncle. While renovating the business, he reconnects with his childhood friend, Johnny, a former street punk and a member of a far-right group. The two men begin a clandestine romantic and business partnership, navigating the complexities of their forbidden relationship, family disapproval, and the racial and political tensions of Thatcher-era Britain.
