Synopsis

Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) is determined to give his family the perfect old-fashioned Christmas, complete with 25,000 twinkle lights, a giant tree, and a heartwarming family gathering. However, his meticulous plans quickly unravel into total holiday chaos thanks to unexpected, redneck relatives, explosive decorations, a dried-out turkey, and a surprise visit from the police.
