Synopsis

Set in contemporary Britain, No Time for Goodbye follows Bosco and Yasmin, two young Hongkongers seeking asylum after political upheaval. Having fled their homeland, they find themselves caught in a state of systemic limbo, struggling against intense isolation and the strict bureaucratic barriers of the UK immigration system. While Bosco faces the frustrations of being unable to work and being separated from a child who traveled with him, Yasmin battles unresolved grief and the uncertainty of her ongoing appeal. Meeting through a chance encounter, the two discover a fragile yet comforting connection in each other. Together, they attempt to navigate their complex emotional displacement, the haunting weight of unmade goodbyes, and the tenuous, enduring hope of starting their lives anew.
