Synopsis
In the tense seventy-two hours leading up to D-Day, the fate of the Allied invasion rests on the shoulders of Group Captain James Stagg, Britain's Chief Meteorological Officer. As the immense Allied forces wait for the signal to cross the English Channel, Stagg must provide an accurate weather forecast that will determine the success or catastrophic failure of the mission. He finds himself locked in a high-stakes conflict with the American meteorologists and General Dwight D. Eisenhower, as a massive storm front threatens to derail months of meticulous planning. With the lives of hundreds of thousands of soldiers hanging in the balance, Stagg must navigate the immense psychological burden of his office and the literal pressure of the atmospheric conditions. This gripping historical thriller captures a pivotal, often overlooked moment in World War II where a single scientific calculation became the most important decision in human history.
