Rabbit Trap

Synopsis

Set in 1976, married musicians Darcy (Dev Patel) and Daphne (Rosy McEwen) retreat from the chaos of London to an isolated cottage in the Welsh countryside to record their new album. Darcy spends his days capturing field recordings of the surrounding wilderness, but his work takes a dark turn when he accidentally records a "forbidden sound" from a mysterious fairy ring.

This sonic disturbance draws a nameless, self-possessed child (Jade Croot) to their doorstep. While Daphne is charmed by the girl’s presence, Darcy becomes increasingly paranoid as the child’s behavior shifts from eccentric to intrusive. As the "Tylwyth Teg" (fairy) folklore of the land begins to seep into their home, the couple must confront buried secrets and a rising supernatural force that threatens to consume their sanity.
