Re-Animator

Synopsis

Herbert West (Jeffrey Combs) is a brilliant, highly eccentric medical student who arrives at Miskatonic University with a chilling breakthrough: a glowing reagent that can bring the dead back to life. He enlists his skeptical roommate, Dan Cain (Bruce Abbott), to help him conduct secret experiments in the basement of their morgue.

However, the "re-animated" subjects don't return as their former selves—they awaken as mindless, ultra-violent zombies with a taste for carnage. As West’s obsession spirals out of control, he finds himself in a gruesome battle against a rival professor who wants the formula for his own twisted ends. Between a re-animated cat, a severed head with a mind of its own, and a climax of pure anatomical chaos, West must face the bloody consequences of playing God.
