Synopsis

After escaping a grueling imprisonment in Jerusalem during the Third Crusade, English nobleman Robin of Locksley returns home to England accompanied by his Moorish companion Azeem. Upon arrival, Robin is devastated to find his father murdered, his family's land destroyed, and his rightful lands confiscated by the ruthless Sheriff of Nottingham. Driven out of his home and declared an outlaw, Robin escapes into the legendary Sherwood Forest, where he crosses paths with a group of exiled peasants led by Little John and Will Scarlett. Uniting these desperate outlaws into a disciplined rebel army, Robin begins robbing from the rich to feed the oppressed, quickly earning the title of the Prince of Thieves. As his daring raids disrupt the Sheriff's tyrannical grip on the region, Robin must also win the heart of Maid Marian and foil the Sheriff's dark plot to claim the throne before England falls completely into ruin.
