Rose of Nevada
Rose of Nevada
Synopsis
In a derelict Cornish fishing village, a vessel long thought to be a myth suddenly drifts back into the harbor: the Rose of Nevada, a boat lost at sea with all hands thirty years ago. While the town reacts with a mix of awe and suppressed dread, the boat's original owner decides to put the "resurrected" ship back to work, hoping to restore the fortunes of the struggling community.
Desperate to provide for his young family, Nick (George MacKay) joins the crew alongside Liam (Callum Turner), an enigmatic drifter looking to vanish. But as they return from their first successful voyage, the world they knew has disappeared. They find themselves in 1993, the era of the boat’s original disappearance, where the villagers greet them as the very men who were supposed to have drowned. Caught in a Möbius strip of identity and fate, Nick must find a way back to his own time, while Liam begins to realize that the past might be the only place he truly belongs.
