Sanjuro

Synopsis

A scruffy and cynical ronin, or masterless samurai, wanders into a town and discovers that a group of nine idealistic young samurai are about to be ambushed by a corrupt official they've accused of wrongdoing. He reluctantly takes it upon himself to protect them, using his cunning and expert swordsmanship to outwit their enemies. This thrilling samurai comedy is a clever and witty follow-up to "Yojimbo," filled with swift action and memorable characters.
