Synopsis

Happily married couple Dan and Jody begin to notice some bizarre medical and supernatural phenomena after bringing his brother's three feral children home to live with them. The kids had been left isolated in a remote woodland cabin for years, and it soon becomes clear that a malevolent paranormal entity known as Mama has followed them into the suburban house. As the chaos escalates, expanding to threaten Jody's ballet career and Dan's research as an ape scientist, they realize that they must find a way to banish the demon before it destroys their new family completely. This fifth entry in the iconic parody franchise hilariously targets a wide variety of pop culture phenomena and modern horror blockbusters, weaving together slapstick send-ups of Paranormal Activity, Mama, Sinister, Inception, Black Swan, and Rise of the Planet of the Apes into one outrageous, gag-filled comedic ride.
