Synopsis

Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma follows a queer indie filmmaker named Kris (Hannah Einbinder) who is hired to reboot a cult-classic 1980s slasher franchise but quickly descends into a psychosexual hallucination after tracking down the original film's reclusive final girl (Gillian Anderson). As the two women form an intense, volatile bond fueled by mutual obsession and trauma, the boundaries between reality and the movie universe entirely collapse. Kris finds herself fighting to protect her artistic vision against corporate studio executives while simultaneously running for her life from the franchise's supernatural, gender-fluid killer, "Little Death."
