Synopsis

Buster Keaton stars as a photographer who – in his hilariously disastrous attempts to win the heart of the girl he loves – lands a job shooting for the newsreels as The Cameraman. In a brave new world of amazing technology, transatlantic flights and independent-minded women, Luke Shannon (Keaton) falls, literally, for newsreel stenographer Sally Richards (Marceline Day). To impress her, the would-be hero takes a job as a cameraman. But everything goes wrong for Shannon, even as he proves to be an unwilling daredevil hero – if always off-screen.
