Synopsis

In Paris 1968, the fervor of student riots provides a volatile backdrop for the internal revolution of three young cinephiles. Matthew, an idealistic American exchange student, strikes up an intense friendship with free-spirited twins Isabelle and Théo at the Cinémathèque Française. When the twins' bohemian parents leave for a month, Matthew is invited to stay at their sprawling apartment, where the trio retreats into a secluded world of film references, wine, and intellectual debate. As the city outside erupts in political chaos, the three engage in increasingly provocative psychological and sexual games that challenge Matthew’s traditional sensibilities and push the boundaries of their collective identity.
