Synopsis

As a cataclysmic flood begins to submerge London, an unnamed woman (Jodie Comer) gives birth to her first child. When the rising waters force her and her husband (Joel Fry) to flee their home, they embark on a desperate journey north toward the English countryside.

The family is soon torn apart by tragedy and the chaos of a collapsing society. Left to protect her newborn baby, Zeb, alone, the mother must navigate a landscape of overcrowded shelters, scarce resources, and the kindness and cruelty of strangers. Along the way, she forms a vital bond with another young mother (Katherine Waterston), together searching for a sanctuary where they can raise their children in a world that has been irrevocably changed.
