The Fall of Sir Douglas Weatherford

Synopsis
In the windswept Scottish village of Arberloch, Kenneth is a recently widowed tour guide who takes fierce pride in his lineage, claiming to be a descendant of the town's most eccentric historical figure, the 18th-century philosopher and inventor Sir Douglas Weatherford. Kenneth's orderly life, centered on dressing in period costume to educate visitors, is thrown into utter chaos when a massive fantasy television production, The White Stag of Emberfell, commandeers the village. As costumed superfans flood the streets and his beloved visitor center is rebranded into a pop-culture fan experience, Kenneth's grip on reality begins to crumble. Feeling his heritage is being erased by a superficial spectacle, he resolves to reclaim the narrative by launching his own low-budget documentary. What begins as a stubborn act of local preservation spirals into a dark, fixated descent into madness, blending sharp satire with a touch of folk horror as Kenneth battles for the soul of his history and his own sanity.
