Synopsis

Set in the early 1970s following the wild events of 1969, relaxed stuntman Cliff Booth finds himself navigating a rapidly shifting Hollywood landscape as classic studio systems fade. With his longtime buddy Rick Dalton working overseas in Europe, Cliff takes on odd jobs, fix-it work, and under-the-table stunt assignments across Los Angeles and Baja California. His easygoing lifestyle is disrupted when an old acquaintance recruits him to locate a missing starlet, pulling Cliff into a tangled web of shady European producers, ruthless mob enforcers, and counterculture eccentrics. Relying on his unflappable cool, sharp military instincts, and deadly hand-to-hand combat skills, Cliff breezes through dangerous confrontations, high-speed drives, and bizarre Hollywood underworld encounters with his signature laid-back demeanor.
