Synopsis

Tommy is a volatile and reckless 19-year-old whose life is a blur of hedonistic parties, drug use, and violent outbursts, often documented for social media clout. His unruly existence takes a terrifying turn when he is kidnapped by Chris and Kathryn, an eccentric middle-aged couple who chain him in their basement. Rather than seeking ransom, the couple reveals a disturbing mission: they intend to perform a radical social rehabilitation on Tommy to transform him into a 'good boy.' Subjected to a bizarre regimen of classic literature, old VHS tapes, and psychological manipulation, Tommy's initial defiance slowly erodes into a complex struggle for survival. As he becomes enmeshed in the family's dysfunctional dynamic, including their young son Jonathan, the lines between victim and predator begin to blur. This dark, genre-bending thriller explores the unsettling intersections of grief, trauma, and the extreme lengths people will go to for a perceived sense of moral order.
