Synopsis

In 1970s France, a 15-year-old runaway orphan named Jeanne takes refuge in a film studio where an adaptation of The Snow Queen is being shot. She instantly becomes obsessed with the film's enigmatic star, Cristina (Marion Cotillard), who embodies the Queen with icy, disturbing perfection. As Jeanne is drawn into the actress's orbit, the boundary between the fairy tale on screen and the chilling, manipulative reality of their relationship begins to dangerously blur.
