Synopsis

In 1970s Massachusetts, an unemployed carpenter and suburban family man named J.B. Mooney, disillusioned with the American dream, decides to orchestrate an art heist at a local museum. What is meant to be a meticulously planned crime turns into a hilariously bungled operation, forcing the hapless "mastermind" to go on the run. From acclaimed director Kelly Reichardt, this film is a subtle, often funny anti-thriller that trades high-octane action for a poignant and authentic look at a man trying to escape his mundane life.
