Synopsis

Set in 1933, seven years after the events of the original film, intrepid adventurer Rick O'Connell and his archaeologist wife Evelyn are settled in London with their eight-year-old son, Alex. During an excavation in Egypt, the couple discovers the ancient Bracelet of Anubis, which Alex inadvertently puts on, binding himself to a curse that gives him visions of the path to the lost oasis of Ahm Shere. Meanwhile, a sinister cult resurrects the resurrected High Priest Imhotep, intending to use his dark powers to defeat the legendary Scorpion King and conquer the world. When the cult kidnaps Alex to guide them to Ahm Shere before the deadline expires, Rick, Evelyn, and their allies race against time across Egypt to rescue their son, prevent Imhotep's apocalyptic victory, and stop the Scorpion King's dangerous army of Anubis warriors from unleashing chaos upon humanity.
