The Sheep Detectives
Synopsis
George Hardy (Hugh Jackman) is a humble shepherd with a peculiar habit: every night, he reads classic murder mystery novels to his flock, assuming they find the sound of his voice soothing. Little does he know, his sheep are not only listening but have become experts in the genre—arguing for hours about red herrings and forensic evidence.
When George is found dead in his meadow under mysterious circumstances, the local police officer, Tim Derry (Nicholas Braun), is completely out of his depth. Realizing the humans are looking at all the wrong clues, the sheep—led by the brilliant Lily (Julia Louis-Dreyfus)—decide to take matters into their own hooves. For the first time, the flock must leave their pasture and venture into the complicated, chaotic world of humans to unmask their shepherd's killer.
