Synopsis

Set in the futuristic year of 2005, the heroic Autobots and evil Decepticons continue their endless war for control of their home planet, Cybertron. However, a far greater threat emerges from the depths of space: Unicron, a colossal, planet-devouring entity capable of consuming entire worlds. Following a tragic and devastating battle at Autobot City on Earth that leaves iconic leaders fallen, a new generation of Autobots led by the young and courageous Hot Rod must step up to the challenge. Armed with the legendary Matrix of Leadership, the Autobots undertake a desperate interstellar quest across alien worlds to unlock its hidden power before Unicron destroys Cybertron and eradicates their race forever.
