The Whisper

Synopsis

Fleeing from their violent father, siblings Lucía and Adrián take refuge in a remote, decaying mansion. However, their newfound sanctuary quickly becomes a prison when they discover that their neighbors are part of a depraved criminal network involved in producing snuff films. With the help of a hidden micro-camera strapped to their cat, Lucía uncovers the terrifying truth: the neighbors intend to make the siblings their next victims. As she fights to protect her younger brother, Lucía must also contend with a dark, inherited family curse that has followed them into the shadows of the estate. Directed by Gustavo Hernández, this claustrophobic horror film uses unsettling soundscapes and suffocating tension to explore the cycle of violence and the ghosts that refuse to stay buried.
