Synopsis

Desperate for a fresh start, Asia Reaves (Zazie Beetz) answers a cryptic help-wanted ad for a live-in housekeeper at The Virgil, a luxurious but foreboding high-rise in Manhattan. Welcomed by the building’s charismatic co-op leader (Patricia Arquette), Asia initially believes she’s landed the perfect gig—until she notices the triple-bolted doors and the unsettling eccentricities of the ultra-rich tenants.

As night falls, Asia uncovers the building's gruesome secret: The Virgil is home to a centuries-old Satanic cult, and she is their chosen sacrifice for the monthly ritual. However, the cultists are woefully unprepared for their new maid. Drawing on a "skill set" forged in her own dark past, Asia turns the high-rise into a vertical battlefield, using everything from flaming axes to kitchen appliances to ensure that if anyone is dying tonight, it won't be her.
