Synopsis

In a candy-colored yet brutal world, an ancestral war rages between religiously zealot teddy bears and mystical unicorns. The teddy bear army, fueled by the promise of a prophecy that victory will usher in a new era, indoctrinates young recruits for a final assault on the Magic Forest. At the center of the conflict are two brothers: the aggressive and power-hungry Azulín and the sensitive, withdrawn Gordi. As they endure the rigors of a military bootcamp that bleeds into the psychedelic horrors of a combat tour, their strained relationship becomes the catalyst for the fate of both species. This provocative animated feature blends 'Bambi' aesthetics with the grit of 'Apocalypse Now' to explore themes of religious fanaticism, military fascism, and the inherited trauma of war. As the brothers delve deeper into the heart of darkness, they must confront the terrifying truth that the greatest monsters might be the ones they see in the mirror.
