Synopsis
In the bustling streets of modern Hong Kong, three strangers from vastly different walks of life find their fates intertwined through a series of inexplicable coincidences. Ho-yin, a disillusioned delivery driver, Mei-ling, a classical musician facing a career crisis, and Uncle Tat, a lonely widower guarding a secret from the city's past, are all searching for a sense of belonging in an increasingly fragmented society. As their paths cross during a transformative summer, they begin to realize that their individual struggles are part of a larger, collective narrative of resilience and hope. Through shared meals, quiet conversations, and unexpected adventures, they discover that even in a world that makes them feel insignificant, their connections to one another provide a profound sense of purpose. This poignant drama captures the heartbeat of Cantonese culture, blending humor and heartbreak to explore the beauty found in life's ordinary moments and the enduring strength of the human spirit in the face of urban isolation.
