Synopsis

Shizuku Tsukishima is a fourteen-year-old junior high student in Tokyo who loves reading and writing poetry. One summer, while checking the checkout cards inside her library books, she notices that a boy named Seiji Amasawa has checked out every single book right before her. Curious about this mystery reader, Shizuku follows an eccentric cat riding a train and stumbles upon an antique shop owned by Seiji's grandfather. There, she meets Seiji, an aspiring violin maker who dreams of studying in Italy. Inspired by Seiji's clear passion and dedication to his craft, Shizuku begins to question her own future and decides to challenge herself by writing a fantasy novel centered around the shop's magical antique cat statue, The Baron. Through mutual encouragement, both young dreamers learn to embrace their talents, face their self-doubt, and discover the true depth of their artistic voices.
