Wicker

Synopsis

On the outskirts of a conservative seaside village lives a smelly, single, and perpetually ridiculed fisherwoman. Fed up with her stuffy, small-minded neighbors, she takes matters into her own hands and commissions a local basket weaver to craft her a husband made entirely out of wicker. To the shock of the village, her unconventional companion comes to life, sparking an extraordinary romance that unleashes immense outrage, jealousy, and chaos among the hypocritical locals. As her newfound happiness challenges the village's rigid social norms, the fisherwoman and her wooden spouse must navigate the absurdities and malice of a community unable to accept their unique bond.
