Synopsis

Anna is a young culinary-school dropout in New York who finds herself drifting through her twenties after losing both her house-sitting job and her home. Following a chance encounter with Matteo, a handsome Italian with an empty villa in Tuscany, Anna impulsively decides to jet off to Italy to find a fresh start. Her plan to quietly crash at the villa for one night quickly unravels when Matteo's mother, Gabriella, shows up unexpectedly. In a moment of panic, Anna allows Gabriella to believe she is Matteo's fiancée. This single lie spirals into a massive complication when she meets Matteo's charming cousin, Michael. As Anna immerses herself in the local culture and begins to rediscover her passion for cooking, the undeniable chemistry between her and Michael threatens to expose her deception.
