Synopsis

Picking up after the high-stakes confrontation in the previous film, Earthrealm's champions find themselves thrust into the legendary Mortal Kombat tournament. Under the guidance of Lord Raiden, Cole Young and his fellow warriors must navigate a treacherous path through Outworld to prevent a total invasion of Earth. This time, the stakes are raised with the arrival of Hollywood icon Johnny Cage, whose lethal skills and cocky bravado join the ranks of the defenders. Together, they must stand against the brutal tyranny of Emperor Shao Kahn and the dark sorcery of Shang Tsung. As ancient rivalries resurface and new alliances are forged, the fighters must unlock their full potential to survive the most gruesome contest in the realms.
